In a major breakthrough against illegal gambling and betting, Haridwar Police have achieved significant success. During night checking and routine duty to maintain law and order, the Sidcul police conducted a raid at a deserted factory building near KTC premises in Brahmpuri and caught seven individuals red-handed while gambling.<br \/>\nThe arrested accused have been identified as:<br \/>\nRajan, son of Anil Kumar, resident of Shivalik Nagar<br \/>\nVijay, son of Sewaram, resident of Tilfara village (Saharanpur)<br \/>\nAkash, son of late Premchand, resident of Ramdham Colony (Haridwar)<br \/>\nTikam, son of Yashpal, resident of Ukraoo (Saharanpur)<br \/>\nAs Mohammad alias Ashu, son of Sattar, resident of Garh Mirpur (Haridwar)<br \/>\nShubham, son of Kanwar Singh, resident of Gadarjuda (Mangalore)<br \/>\nVipin, son of Laxman Singh, resident of Rawli Mehdood (Haridwar)<br \/>\nAmong them, one accused is also reported to be a BBA student.<br \/>\nDuring the operation, the police team recovered \u20b959,000 in cash along with playing cards.
