Haridwar Shyampur<\/strong><\/span> \/ According to the police, the individuals who were apprehended caused damage to government property following a road accident and disrupted traffic by blocking the road. The Shyampur Police had registered a case against 50\u201360 miscreants. Haridwar Police has issued a clear warning that no one will be spared. Any grievance should be presented through legal means, not by creating unrest. Strict action is being taken by Haridwar Police against those who misbehave with police personnel, damage government property, and disrupt traffic and law and order.
\nIn the Chandi Ghat outpost area, after the death of a person in a road accident, angry local residents and family members of the deceased blocked the road, causing disruption to traffic.
\nDuring this time, some individuals misbehaved with police personnel and vandalized the outpost, causing damage to government property, which led to significant inconvenience for the general public.
\nIn connection with the incident, Outpost In-charge Sub-Inspector Naveen Chauhan registered FIR Kotwali Shyampur under the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act,\u00a0 and Section 7 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act against 10 named and 50\u201360 unidentified persons.
\nUnder the directions of senior officers, the Station House Officer of Shyampur formed multiple teams to arrest the accused. The Investigating Officer, Sub-Inspector Santosh Semwal, In-charge of Chandi Ghat Outpost, took swift action and detained five accused:
\nSubodh, son of Bechan Ram, resident of Khatta Basti, Chandi Ghat, aged 54 years
\nSandeep, son of Late Kishan, resident of village Kangri, Shyampur, aged 22 years
\nSonu alias Tunda, son of Santosh Sharma, resident of Deendayal Parking, Rodibelwala, aged 41 years
\nGovind Shah, son of Ganesh Shah alias Chitra, resident of Bhimgoda Khadkhadi, currently residing in Ghazivali, Shyampur, aged 30 years
\nRambabu alias Bhoora, son of Jogendra, resident of Deendayal Parking, Rodibelwala, aged 45 years
\nFurther legal action is being taken against the detained accused.
\nHaridwar Police also appeals to the public that in case of any incident or accident, do not take the law into your own hands. Present your concerns through proper legal channels.
