Haridwar<\/strong>: A grand and informative CME (Continuing Medical Education) program was organized by Metro Hospital & Heart Institute, Haridwar under the aegis of the PCMA Doctors Association. This significant medical conference witnessed the participation of senior doctors, specialists, and distinguished personalities from the healthcare sector across the country, who exchanged the latest knowledge and advancements in the field of medicine.
\nThe program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Purushottam Lal, Chairman of Metro Group of Hospitals and a world-renowned cardiologist. The event was chaired by Chief Medical Officer Haridwar, Dr. R. K. Singh, while Dr. Vipin Mehra attended as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Dr. Prem Luthra, Ajit Kumar, S. C. Arya, Altaf Hussain, Hark Singh Rawat, and Ramesh Prajapati.
\nProviding details about the program, Unit Head of Metro Hospital Haridwar, Dr. Arshad Iqbal, stated that the objective of this CME was to familiarize doctors with the latest medical technologies and modern treatment methods for various diseases.
\nDuring the conference, senior cardiologist Dr. Pankaj Bohra, as the keynote speaker, elaborated on heart-related issues encountered in daily medical practice. He emphasized that problems like breathlessness and high blood pressure can be effectively controlled if identified and treated at the right time.
\nMeanwhile, Dr. Naveen Chawla spoke on the topic \u201cEmergency in Diabetes,\u201d highlighting that diabetes is rapidly becoming a serious concern in India. He warned that every second or third person is at risk of this disease, making regular check-ups and timely medical consultation extremely important to prevent complications.
\nOn this occasion, Vice Chairman of Metro Group Siddharth Jain, Medical Superintendent Dr. N. K. Rana, Sudhir Sharma, Dr. Vimal (Orthopedic Surgeon), J. P. Joel, Dr. Gaurav Gupta (BHEL Hospital), Dr. Kamal Singh (Modinagar), Bharat Bhushan, Dr. Israr, along with more than 300 doctors and dignitaries, were present.
