Meeting with the operators of hotels and dhabas located on the national highway from Chandighat to Chidiyapur border, instructions were given to all regarding the prescribed rate list, installation of CCTV cameras and not parking of vehicles outside the hotel and dhaba.

Today, Shyampur police station organized a meeting in the police station premises with the owners of all the hotels and dhabas falling in the police station area to ensure the safe completion of Kanwad Mela 2024 due to Sawan, in which the following guidelines were given to the owners and operators of all the hotels and dhabas, which are as follows

During the Shravan month Kanwad Yatra, meat, fish, eggs will be completely banned in hotels, dhabas, restaurants. If a complaint of meat and fish sale is received in any hotel/dhaba, then legal action will be taken. Verification of all employees is mandatory.

All hotel/dhaba operators will compulsorily mention their names in the property on the boards of their hotels and dhabas.

CCTV cameras will be installed at hotels and dhabas and rate lists will be compulsorily displayed.

Vehicles will be parked in parking spaces on the road outside the hotels. Vehicles should not be parked on the road under any circumstances.
