Let us tell you that during this time the Chief Minister said that the SDRF team has increased the prestige of Uttarakhand by demonstrating its efficiency in the Maha Kumbh. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also handed over a cheque of ₹ 5 lakh as a reward to the SDRF team.
The Chief Minister congratulated the SDRF team for providing better services in the Maha Kumbh Prayagraj. He said that these experiences will be useful in the 2027 Kumbh of Haridwar. This will also help in organizing the Kumbh in a grand manner. This Maha Kumbh has increased the confidence of our soldiers and in future we will be successful in efficiently managing the crowd.
The Chief Minister said that it was a challenging task to handle the challenge of the Mahasangam of Sanatan Dharma. Better arrangements and management have raised the head of the Uttar Pradesh as well as the Uttarakhand government. These experiences will prove helpful in the 2027 Kumbh. Our effort is to have a well-planned parking system for vehicles, for which the government is fully trying.
He said that the state of Uttarakhand is a sensitive state in terms of various geographical conditions and disaster. To overcome these challenges, commendable work has been done by SDRF. SDRF has played an important role in best disaster management. Quick response and modern equipment for disaster management have helped a lot in reducing the impact of disaster in the state.
During this program, Vice Chairman State Disaster Management Advisory Committee Mr. Vinay Rohila, Home Secretary Mr. Shailesh Bagauli, DGP Mr. Deepam Seth, ADG Mr. Amit Sinha, Mr. V Murugeshan, Mr. A. P Anshuman, Secretary Disaster Management Mr. Vinod Kumar Suman, IG SDRF Mrs. Riddhim Agarwal, Commandant SDRF Arpan Yaduvanshi and officers and jawans of SDRF were present.
