Haridwar Police have solved a tractor-trolley theft case, arresting two notorious interstate thieves. The police recovered two tractors, two trolleys, and one motorcycle from their possession. The accused admitted that they used a motorcycle to conduct reconnaissance before committing the theft.
The case was registered at Shyampur Police Station after Shiv Kumar, a resident of Kangdi village, lodged a complaint about the theft of his tractor and trolley. Acting on the directions of SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal, a special police team was formed. During the investigation, based on a tip-off, police apprehended Pankaj Saini (resident of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh) and Divyanshu Kumar (resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh).
Following interrogation, the accused led the police to Kotwali Ranipur area, where two stolen tractors with trolleys and the motorcycle used in the crime were recovered. Local residents highly appreciated Shyampur Police for achieving a 100% recovery.
According to the police, one wanted accused is still absconding, and efforts are underway to arrest him. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the arrested suspects.
