HARIDWAR SSP honoured the police personnel who saved a drowning woman in the canal. Appreciating the bravery of the jawans, he patted their backs by giving them cash.

Those police personnel who are honestly performing their duties towards the society and the public are being continuously rewarded, who do not care about their lives when needed. Similarly, when brave policemen Manoj Sharma and HC Kripa Ram were on duty on the canal track, when they saw a girl drowning in the Ganga canal, without any delay, HC Kripa Ram jumped into the Ganga canal without caring about his life and took the girl out safely.

For this courageous act of the police personnel, SSP Haridwar today honoured both the personnel by patting their backs in his camp office and giving them cash amount of Rs. 2500.
