Police Action Against Anti-Social Elements Under “Operation Lagaam”; Youths Caught Drinking at Public Dhabas Face Consequences – 15 Caught Consuming Alcohol, Challaned Under Police Act

Under the instructions of SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal and as part of the region-wide “Operation Lagaam,” police took action against individuals creating public disturbances after consuming alcohol at public places and dhabas. In compliance with these directives, Pathri Police formed separate teams and conducted raids at public places, such as roadside areas, where individuals were found consuming alcohol and causing nuisance. A total of 15 individuals were challaned under Section 81 of the Police Act, and a penalty of ₹3750 was collected as a composition fee. They were also issued warnings for the future.
