“17 arrested in stone pelting case during vote counting”

Manglore/Bahadrabad: Dissatisfied with the defeat in the Government Inter College Rohalki and Gud Mandi Mangalore during the counting of the three-tier Panchayat elections, forcibly trying to enter the counting place (strong room), blocking the national highway and trying to convince the police officers present on the spot. Has started tightening the screws on the accused of pushing / stone pelting with the force.
In the course of the proceedings, five accused were arrested by Bahadurabad Police and one dozen accused in Mangalore Police. Efforts are on to arrest the rest soon. It is noteworthy that due to stone pelting by the angry mob, several policemen who were handling the security arrangements of the booth were injured.
