Haridwar/Laksar: On the over bridge of Laksar police station Kotwali area, three suspected miscreants opened gun fire on the police personnel on duty on 16 october 2022. Such an incident in broad daylight caused a stir in the area. The injured policeman was admitted to a nearby hospital. From where he was sent to higher sensor. Local people helped in this. Because the incident is from the market area itself.
The names of the injured police personnel are Pancham and Rajendra, who are posted at Main Bazaar Laksar police post. Like everyday: While doing his duty, he was checking near the over bridge when he asked the 3 suspects on the bike to stop. After saying this, the miscreants started firing on the police in broad daylight. The people admitted him to a nearby hospital from where both the police personnel were referred to higher censors.
As soon as the information was received, the police of the nearby police stations immediately swung into action. High officials reached the spot and took good news of the injured policemen.
Hemendra Singh Negi of Laksar said that both the police personnel were shot and both were seriously injured. The process of arresting those miscreants is going on.
