Haridwar: Karthik Purnima bathing fair area divided into 09 zones and 33 sectors, briefing of force was completed.

S.S.P. Haridwar Shri Ajay Singh briefed the police force appointed in the Kartik Purnima Snan festival in the traffic police line today. As a precaution during the bathing festival, two bomb disposal squads and dog teams have been deputed in the Mela area, which will keep a watch on suspicious objects by conducting a continuous checking campaign at the bus stand, railway station and various ghats of Har Ki Paidi
In order to make strong police arrangements on the occasion of this festival, the entire fair area has been divided into 09 zones and 33 sectors. SP City Swatantra Kumar Singh, the officer-in-charge of the entire fair, has been appointed.
