Roorkee police disclosed the blind murder mystery within the stipulated time, got praise and reward.

Haridwar/Roorkee: On 09.11.2022, the body of an unknown person and a helmet was recovered in a sugarcane field on the banks of Chak Road going from Dhandera to Bijauli under Kotwali Roorkee area. Along with the deep marks of injuries on the body of the deceased, there was a lot of blood scattered all around, which clearly indicated that the said person was brutally murdered by some unknown person. The team of Field Unit and CIU Roorkee were called to the spot after the nearby people could not identify the body.
Under the supervision of SP Rural and CO Roorkee Vivek Kumar, the task was divided by forming different teams for the disclosure of the incident. After the photos and videos of the deceased were circulated through social media in nearby villages and localities, the deceased was finally identified as Sachin alias Kaka’s son Ghanshyam, resident of Mohanpura Mohammadpur Kotwali Roorkee.
