Haridwar/Jwalapur: Strict warning of the police in the meeting of the medical store operators, if you sell drugs, you will have to go to jail.
If we talk about Jwalapur/Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, then the Uttarakhand government has started cracking down on the rapidly spreading drug business, and has launched a campaign against such anti-social elements who are ruining their lives by selling drugs among the society. And the good thing is that everyone is moving ahead together in this campaign.
To make Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s “Drug Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025” campaign a meaningful success, Jwalapur police organized a meeting of medical store operators of Jwalapur area after strict guidelines given by SSP Haridwar on NRx, drug and injection sellers Warning of strict action, the following guidelines were given which are as follows
1- CCTV cameras must be compulsorily installed at all medical stores
2- Those running medical stores without license will be prosecuted under 269/270 IPC.
3- Action will be taken under the NDPS Act against the operator of the medical store from where drugs are found to be purchased on inquiry from drug users.
4- Will not sell needle or syringe without doctor’s prescription
If wholesale sellers sell NRX medicines to unlicensed people, action will be taken under the NDPS Act.
