Haridwar/Bhagwanpur: Due to the vigilance of the Haridwar police, the robbers could not carry out the robbery incident.The entire Haridwar police came on alert mode after receiving late night information from the Control Room Roorkee that “3-4 unknown miscreants looted his car UK 17 Q 1564 from the collar near Bhagwanpur toll plaza”. Immediately the search for the miscreants started.

On this information, night officer SI Karmaveer Singh and SI Deepak Chaudhary of Bhagwanpur police station chased the theft car with the help of subordinates. Constable Brijesh Murari and Home Guard Dharmendra, appointed on Ratri Chetak, chased the said car after breaking the barrier from Manokamna Mandir towards Kaliyar Road.
On the continuous flashing information on the wireless set, Night Officer SI Hemant Bhardwaj from Bahadarabad Police and PC3 driver Constable Shah Alam parked a truck on the road at Sandhar Company Tirahe in such a way that no one could cross, surrounded by all-round Haridwar police. But on Imli Kheda Road, the miscreants had to leave the theft car near Pathri Row bridge and run away.
Taking advantage of the darkness, a case has been registered against the miscreants who fled in different directions under serious sections in police station Bhagwanpur and police station Bahadarabad. Intensive search is on for the miscreants. Teams are engaged.
