Haridwar: The police department has taken a big step regarding the Ankita murder case. A special advocate will be appointed to prosecute this case. The police department has written a letter to the justice department in this regard. So that the victim’s side can be kept firmly in the litigation. Everyone knows that Ankiti was from an ordinary family and the accused belong to very influential families.

It is, therefore, imperative to put forth robustness and authenticity of all aspects of the prosecution. It is being felt that with this work can be done fast in getting the accused punished.

Two of Ankita’s three killers have given consent for the narco test and the third accused has asked for 10 days time. The court has fixed December 22 as the date of hearing on the demand for the test. There is news that a charge sheet will also be filed in this regard on 15th December. A special counsel has been sought for the trial in the case.
