Uttarakhand/Almora: Danya police conducted awareness program in rural areas.
Almora policemen were seen going from house to village and understanding the importance of Gaura Shakti AAP. Really doing commendable work. As everyone knows, most of the areas of Kumaon range are hilly. Where small works have been done in more populated villages. In such a way, by reaching out to them, the Almora police is making people aware for women’s safety.
One such effort was seen in Daya villages. The women police personnel there and the women sub-inspector Meena Arya made the women of rural areas aware.
Women sub-inspector Meena Arya of Thana Danya explained the usefulness of all the facilities and buttons available in the Uttarakhand Police App to the women of rural areas, giving them information about Gaura Shakti, the women’s security shield, to use it for immediate assistance in need / adverse circumstances, installation / registration. The process was explained.
