Haridwar: On 18.12.2022, on the occasion of Minority Day, a seminar was organized by the Haridwar Police in various Kotwali / police station premises of the district.
On this occasion, the problems of the people belonging to all minority communities were heard and they were made aware about their rights. In many police stations, meritorious girl students were honored publicly by distributing certificates awarded by the District Minority Welfare Commission.
Minorities were told about their rights by having a detailed discussion about their rights. Making this society aware about education, women were explained to participate in the power of emerging India and their special rights were explained to women. Along with this, the safety of women was also discussed. Women were made aware about their safety, ‘Gaura Shakti’, their basic rights, their freedom, etc.
Individuals from all categorys of people participated in this discussion and appreciated these activities of the police administration. Knowledge of rules and regulations is directly related to the protection of the immortal rights and fulfillment of the needs of the underprivileged. That’s why a civilized and aware understanding is created by having all this information to the common man.
