Uttarakhand:In the year 2021, in view of the inaccessibility and possibility of accident due to stray animals left on the roads, the then SSP in district Pauri Garhwal, currently DIG Law & Order Ms. P. Renuka Devi ji started ‘Operation Kamdhenu’. By preparing SOP, coordinating with District Administration, Animal Husbandry Department and Municipal Corporation/Municipality, he conducted this campaign successfully, in which fraud action was taken against hundreds of cattle herders and tagging of thousands of animals was done.
