Haridwar: Atal Bihari Vajpayee was sleeping at night. Suddenly a call comes from America in the middle of night. That gentleman was America’s President Bill Clinton.
He gave a clear warning on the telephone that if you do not call back your forces, then Pakistan will attack you nuclear.
In reply, Atal Bihari said – “I am ready to lose half of my land, but tomorrow Pakistan will not see the morning sun in the world map”.

Yes he  was Atal Bihari Vajpayee (25 December 1924 – 16 August 2018). was a three-time Prime Minister of India.
Under the leadership of Vajpayee, India conducted the second nuclear test in Pokhran, Rajasthan in the year 1998 without being afraid of nuclear power rich nations. Its US intelligence agency CIA could not even get a clue.

Atalji was also the longest non-Congress Prime Minister after Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Atal was the first foreign minister who made India proud by giving a speech in Hindi in the United Nations.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the three-time Prime Minister of India. He was the Prime Minister of India first from 16 May to 1 June 1996, and again in 1998 and again from 19 March 1999 to 22 May 2004. He was a Hindi poet, journalist and an eloquent orator. He was one of the founders of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, and was also its president from 1968 to 1973.
Be it the leader of his party or the opposition party, the quality of taking everyone along with him used to separate him from other leaders. This was the reason why he was also called Ajatashatru.
