Haridwar/Laksar: The Haridwar police has exposed a vicious gang that duped hundreds of people in the name of getting them government jobs. This gang used to target educated unemployed people and also issued fake appointment letters of Public Service Commission and UKSSSC.
When the victim reached for joining the concerned department, he came to know about the incident that happened to him. This gang was active for many days in Laksar and rural areas of Haridwar. In order to establish its influence, this gang used to call these educated unemployed people for interviews in the famous hotels of the city. In film style, this gang used to lure the educated unemployed with false jobs by telling them departmental quota of 10 percent in various departments and then used to collect Rs. No one should doubt, for this, fake pieces of the Public Service Commission were also made. When the police received complaints of this gang in many police station areas including Roorkee, Bahadarabad, Mangalore, Kaliyar of Haridwar, the police raided an office in Laksar and arrested a total of 4 people including a woman.
The police recovered fake appointment certificates, fake marksheets , Rs. 90,000 in cash, a dozen mobiles, pieces of various departments and army and police uniforms from their possession. The names of the arrested accused are Vijay Nautiyal, Renu, Nitin and Siddharth while one of the accused named Ajay is absconding. In search of whom the police are raiding places. Disclosing the entire incident, SSP Haridwar has announced a reward of ₹ 10000 to the police team that exposes the gang.
