Haridwar:Taking out some time before the new year, SSP Haridwar reached among the children. SSP Haridwar Shri Ajai Singh reached Shri Ram Ashram Orphanage in Shyampur and Netaji Subhash Chandra Hostel in Laldhang with the aim of spending some time with the little children before the new year.
On his first meeting with the “true mind” children, the SSP first interacted with about 50 children at Shri Ram Orphanage Ashram and about 100 children at Subhash Chandra Bose Hostel located in Laldhang by distributing warm clothes like sweaters, track suits etc. in a pleasant atmosphere. Shared things with gestures which touched the hearts of the children.
During this, by distributing samosas, sweets, chocolates etc. to the children, Mr. Singh quickly mingled with the little ones and chatted with them about their skills, studies, physical health, interest in which sport, what they want to become when they grow up, etc.
Delighted to have the District Police Captain so close to them, children chirped and chatted with Captain “Uncle”, some recited poetry, some told about their leg injury, some narrated short stories, some shared their achievements in sports. Experiences were shared, some showed their own painting made in the form of a book and many children expressed their desire to grow up to serve the public by becoming police, army, commando, doctor etc.
Knowing closely the practical problems being faced by the caretakers and the living conditions of small to large children, the Captain became serious while he appreciated this noble work of another management, while on the other hand he gave all possible help from his own level.
