Haridwar: Due to the strict guidelines given by SSP Haridwar to make Uttarakhand government’s “Drugs Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025” campaign meaningful, the police raided  medical stores to make the district level campaign a success, drugs were found. While checking, a warning was given to take strict action against those who sell drugs.
The surprising thing is that the health department and the police are continuously engaged in the campaign day and night, yet there are some people in their area who are opening medical shops without license, but many medical stores are also locked due to lack of such license. Medical stores where CCTV cameras were not working were directed to make them smooth.
Under the Drugs Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025, raids were conducted simultaneously on more than 500 medical stores in the city and countryside under the direction of SSP Haridwar.
In the guise of medical stores, complaints were also received about illegal sale of intoxicating tablets, injections, without valid license, license holder without B Pharma degree being sold by others at the shop, on which strict action is going on, the interesting thing is that Due to this action, a large number of medical drivers fled leaving the medical open.
