Haridwar: After gangster, now illegal property of drug mafia is on the radar of Haridwar police. Major action taken for confiscation of luxurious buildings, plots, vehicles and bank accounts etc. built by selling poisonous drugs of 07 accused.

Property worth Rs 2 crore 36 lakh came under the investigation.

Under the leadership of SSP Haridwar Mr. Ajai Singh to investigate the accused of NDPS ACT who are adding movable and immovable property by smuggling drugs under the Chief Minister’s Drugs Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025 and the property acquired by them from this black Gorakh business Under the intensive campaign being run from 2022, till now 07 drug mafias have been identified.

During this N.D.P.S. A letter was sent to the concerned departments (tehsil, registrar office etc.) to freeze the property worth about 02 crore 35 lakh 83 thousand added by the 07 accused identified under Section 68(F) of the Act by selling drugs to the youth. The evaluation/fixation of the house prices of the accused was done by the Public Works Department (PWD).

The report of confiscation of property of the above drug mafia / smugglers is being sent to Additional Director SAFEMA New Delhi for information. Section 68(F) NDPS confiscated under the act.
