Haridwar: Uttarakhand Police Sub-Inspector Neerja Yadav has been selected as the field office police commander of the peacekeeping force in the United Nations peacekeeping mission.

Sub-Inspector Neerja Yadav was selected for the United Nations Peace Mission in August 2022 last year. She was posted in the Crime Investigation Department (CBCID). He was selected for South Sudan. Where after giving a merit-based test and interview, he was selected from among police officers from 28 countries, Field Office Police Commander of Rumbek Lake State, South Sudan.
The UN mission is designed for the betterment of the people. They help people by going to disputed areas, where work is done for the betterment of the people. All countries work together under the mission.

Sub-Inspector Neerja Yadav had earlier completed her first UN mission in the country of Cyprus in 2013-14, where she was Patrol Leader. Neerja has also been awarded 03 United Nations Medals for meritorious service in the mission.
