Uttarakhand/Chamoli/Rudraprayag:It is snowing in Kedarnath since last 24 hours. Due to which Char Dham yatra have been greatly affected. In such a situation, even the road is not safe to travel. So DGP IPS Mr. Ashok Kumar himself has issued an advisory requesting the countrymen that people should stay where they are. Don’t come ahead of Rishikesh now. This is the right time considering the safety and facilities. Due to bad weather, it is raining all over Uttarakhand. Due to which the traffic has been affected a lot.
The traffic has come to a standstill due to continuous snowfall for 24 hours, due to which the devotees who went to visit are stuck in Kedar Nath itself. In the message, the DGP said that no devotees should leave for the yatra tomorrow. Instructions have been given not to go beyond Rishikesh. The decision was taken due to inclement weather and snowfall in Kedar Valley.DGP Ashok Kumar has appeal the countrymen to remain safe at their places till the arrival of the next advisory. The journey will be made smooth as soon as the weather opens.
