Dehradun: Uttarakhand Police has got a big success in Dehradun. SOG Dehradun under police station Sahaspur has busted an international gang dealing in spurious medicines. The police have arrested a vicious Abdul from Sahaspur in the case, while the search for the two accused is still on.
In the press conference, SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar told that both the accused Ashish Kumar and Anil Kumar are residents of Lakhimpur Kheri. They know each other from last 3-4 years and do scrap work. There is a company named Elder Pharmaceutical in Selaqui which is closed. Accused Ashish takes all these medicines in powder scrap from him and the cover of the capsule was arranged by accused Anil.
Anil and Ashish used to sell this powder and capsule cover to Irfan, a resident of Roorkee Haridwar. Irfan used to fill this powder in capsules and sell it further. The Senior Superintendent of Police has announced Rs 10,000 to the police team that busted the spurious drug.
