After leaving charge of Haridwar distric now New Captain of Dehradun district Ajai Singh (IPS) held a meeting with all the officers & informed about his priorities.

Focus will be on victim-centric policing

Late night of 16/09/23, SSP Dehradun, Ajai Singh (IPS) held talks with all the gazetted officers, police station in-charges and branch in-charges of the district. During the talk, SSP Dehradun appreciated the work done by Doon Police in uncovering crimes and maintaining law and order situation and inspired them to make better efforts in this direction in future. During this, while informing all the officers present in the meeting about his priorities, SSP Dehradun told that – *Every officer/employee appointed at the police station/post will listen to the issues/problems of every victim in a calm manner and  solve their problems quickly.

*All police station in-charges will organize police chaupal every Saturday, in which the general public will be made aware about drug addiction and under the ongoing anti-drug campaign.

*All police station in-charges will special focus on Street Crime (chain/purse snatching, fighting etc.)
*Action will be taken under the Gangster Act against the accused who create organized gangs and cheat people and cause financial loss to them and their properties will be confiscated.

*For smooth operation of traffic, the visibility of the traffic police as well as the police station will also be increased on the roads.

*Heinous crimes/crimes related to women should be resolved quickly.
