Haridwar/Laksar:Big action by Haridwar Police, many vehicles seized to curb illegal mining in Kotwali Laksar area.

In compliance with the guidelines given by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar to curb illegal mining in the district, many trucks and tractor trolleys doing illegal mining are being caught and seized in the continuous raids being conducted by the Kotwali Laksar Police.

Yesterday evening too, a tractor trolley with illegal mining was seized from Sultanpur area. Continuous raids are being conducted to prevent illegal mining. Long queues of vehicles laden with mines which have been seized have formed on both sides of Laksar police station. There is a stir among the mining mafia due to the effective action being taken against illegal mining.
