Haridwar: Haridwar Police reunites 2-year-old innocent boy, who was missing for 3 months, with his family.
Last 03 months ago, during Kaliyar fair, 02 year old child Rihan son of Asraf, resident of Parikshitgarh, Meerut was lost during the fair. In relation to which FIR 280/23 Section 363 IPC was registered at Kaliyar police station.
In order to search for the said child, the police team checked hundreds of CCTV cameras and conducted a search in and around the railway station and bus station, and posters were pasted at important crowded places and efforts were also made through DCRB. Went.
On seeing the poster/advertisement on social media on 16/01/24, merchant Salim Khan, resident of Clementtown, Dehradun, informed Inspector SI Hemdutt Bhardwaj that the child related to the poster is with him.
Efforts were being made to trace the family members through social media and by publishing them in newspapers. On 14/01/24, an acquaintance of the merchant informed the merchant after seeing the poster of a child in Kaliyar, on which the merchant Salim informed the investigator named on the poster, SI Hemdutt Bhardwaj.
Police recovered the child from Dehradun, informed the family members, produced him in CWC Dehradun, interrogated the above mentioned businessman Salim Khan and Anwari Khatoon in detail and handed over the child to the family members.
After finding their child safe after 3 months, the family expressed gratitude to the district police.
