A major accident was averted due to the “wisdom of Sidcul Pentagon Mall staff.”

Haridwar: It is commendable that the SIDCUL Police Administration and Fire Department officials took prompt action and averted a major incident.
Otherwise it was possible that even a slight delay, half the mall would have been on fire and it would have proved to be a big challenge to control.
The staff told in the conversation that from time to time their mock drill practices gave them the confidence to fight the fire. That’s why he kept fighting with fire as long as possible. And after a while fire briged  Sidkul’s help came.

The incident took place at 6:15 am, as soon as the information about the fire was received, Chief Engineer Shri Lal Bahadur Chauhan reached the spot within 7 minutes and took cognizance. Earlier, the staff of Night Shift was battling the fire.

6-Vikas Kumar and other staff started to control the fire inside the mall by opening water from the Hoseril to control the fire inside. The fire could be prevented from spreading further due to the alertness and intelligence and quickness of Vikas, Atal Sharma, Shivam, Deepak and the security personnel. All of them were present in the night shift and made tireless efforts to douse the fire on the spot. Along with informing their senior Lal Bahadur Chauhan, these people also performed their practices and duties very well. There is hyphen next to Supertech. The night shift staff informed the staff about the fire in time. The fire was further brought under control by about 8 o’clock.
