Haridwar: Haridwar Police reached among the students for public awareness, organized a program in Guru Teg Bahadur Inter College, created awareness regarding cyber crime, students participated enthusiastically, asked questions running in their mind. In the present scenario, with the aim of curbing the increasing cyber crime, on the orders given by SSP Pramendra Dobal to spread publicity about toll free numbers to the general public and create public awareness regarding cyber crime, police station Buggawala today. Reached Guru Teg Bahadur Inter College, Buggawala. By making students and youth aware about cyber crime, publicity was spread and they were made aware of the toll free number 1930 to curb the currently increasing cyber crime. In the seminar, to avoid cyber fraud, do not share your personal data with unknown persons, do not fall into the trap of being given any lottery etc., do not transact money without verification to buy the vehicles shown on OLX, etc. Awareness was raised regarding not sharing any objectionable post/video, sharing your account related information (like PAN card, ATM card, ATM code etc.) with others.

In the organized program, students and teachers participated enthusiastically and asked questions running in their minds and also got answers to them. Students were also asked to give this information to their acquaintances and family members.
