Haridwar:A seminar was held with the operators of Hotel Dhaba located on the National Highway from Chandighat to Chidiyapur Border with a view to safely conclude the Autumn Kanwad Mela 2024.

With a view to ensure safe completion of Autumn Kanwad Mela 2024, a meeting was organized by the Shyampur police station in the police station premises with the owners and operators of all the hotels and restaurants falling in the police station area, in which the following guidelines were given to the owners and operators of all the hotels and restaurants  given.
“According to which meat, fish, eggs will be completely banned in hotels, dhabas and restaurants during Sharadya Kanwar Yatra”

If any complaint is received about sale of meat and fish in any hotel or dhaba, then legal action will be taken.
All hotel and dhaba operators will compulsorily mention their names on the property boards of their hotels and dhabas. CCTVs will be installed at hotels and dhabas, rate lists will be compulsorily displayed, vehicles will be parked in parking places on the roads outside the hotels and vehicles should not be parked on the roads under any circumstances.
