Uttarakhand/Gadhwal:Necessary guidelines were given to review the crimes at the range level, expedite disposal of pending investigations and take preventive action to curb crimes. In all the districts of the region, concerned police station in-charges should be directed to quickly arrest the criminals remaining for arrest in crimes like dacoity, murder, robbery, vehicle theft, theft, other thefts etc. and to verify the criminals who came to light earlier and keep a watch on their activities. In view of the seriousness of the cases/cases related to women harassment and SC/ST harassment, the concerned were directed to take prompt action in such cases and dispose of them.

▪️Instructions were given to dispose of all the complaints received from CM Helpline/CM Dashboard on priority basis and review them by the district in-charge himself.
In View of the upcoming elections, all the district in-charges were directed to review the police force available in their respective districts. Necessary action should be taken to install CCTV cameras on inter-state barriers and inter-district barriers.

Instructions were given to ensure that the upcoming festivals like Ramzan/Shivratri/Holi etc. are conducted safely by coordinating with the local people.
