Haridwar:According to religious beliefs, this well was built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata period, which is famous by the name of ancient Jata Shivshankar Temple, some time ago on 2 February 2024, after completing the necessary work during a visit to the rural area. SSP Pramendra Dobbal had gone to visit the Utkanthavas temple after getting information about the , local people and the priest of the temple said that there was no help available from anywhere.

Taking this matter seriously, Pramendra Dobhal got this work done by giving assurance of reconstruction and beautification of the well, in which the important responsibility of supervising the work being done from time to time was assigned to Police Station Head Pathri Ravindra Kumar, who ensured the quality of the work took care of.

Today, on the eve of Shivratri festival, after the renovation and beautification work done by the efforts of Haridwar Police, the new and attractive form of the well was revealed to the common people, which is being liked very much at the local level.
