Violation of standards Pollution Control Board, 27 hotels seized in mussoorie on instruction of NGT.

Uttarakhand/Dehradoon:Nine hotels in Mussoorie have been closed for damaging the environment and not taking permission from the Pollution Control Board (PCB). Electricity and water connections of these hotels have also been disconnected.
Earlier, notices were sent by PCB to 27 hotels which were running without permission. However, currently only nine of these hotels were operating. This action has created panic among hotel businessmen.
Following the instructions of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board stopped the electricity and water supply of nine hotels operating without permission and also stopped their operations. Earlier, PCB had given notice to these nine hotels and instructed them to take permission.
Also asked to pay special attention to environmental standards in hotel operation.
Despite giving notices several times, the hotel owners did not take any step in this direction. After which action was taken.

Violation standards PCB regional officer Dr. RK Chaturvedi said that last year, following the instructions of NGT, the hotels of Mussoorie were inspected. In which it was found that out of 282 hotels in Mussoorie, 27 were violating the standards. To whom notices were issued from time to time.
