Haridwar Police’s clampdown on drug smugglers is continuously catching drug smugglers, created panic among drug dealers, smugglers caught smuggling country liquor.

Haridwar: In order to conduct the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 safely and to make the drug-free Devbhoomi Mission successful, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar District has ordered to take strict action against drug smugglers.

In compliance with which, continuous raids and checking campaigns are being conducted at the district level to arrest drug smugglers, successful results are being seen.

In the same sequence, accused Sachin Kumar from Sidkul Assembly 25 BHEL, in front of Sidkul Highway Kala Gate, was caught by Sidkul police station while smuggling liquor in a car with 480 pavve (10 boxes) of country liquor
Case crime number 145/2024 under section 60/72 Excise Act was registered against the accused at Sidcul police station.
