Haridwar:In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Haridwar Police took concrete action under the Goonda Act, as per the order of the Honorable Court, 04 criminals were arrested.send to exit- Tadipar from district. These goon elements involved in liquor smuggling, betting and cow slaughter have been left in the limits of Muzaffarnagar and shifted to Badar district for 1 month.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar District has been directed to take action against professional habitual criminals involved in liquor smuggling, betting and cow slaughter to ensure safe conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. On which, as per the order issued by the Honorable Court, four criminals, Manjesh son of Virampal, resident of village Shantarshah, police station Bahadarabad Haridwar, Anees son of Piru, resident of village Badhedi Rajputana police station Bahadarabad district, Haridwar, Salman son of Piru, resident of village Badhedi Rajputana police station Bahadarabad district, Haridwar, Nafees son Resident of Piru, village Badhedi, Rajputana police station, Bahadarabad district, Haridwar In compliance with the order received from the Honorable Court, the accused, after taking necessary action, released these four goonda elements from the border of Haridwar district to the border of Muzaffarnagar district and were instructed that they are prohibited from entering within the limits of district Haridwar for 01 month. If the order of the Honorable Court is violated, legal action will be taken as per the Goonda Act.
