Uttarakhand/Dehradoon: The miscreants who escaped after robbing Pearl Height Apartment in Vasant Vihar had an encounter with the police in Biharigarh. During this time, an SI injured by a bullet and a miscreant was also shot in the leg.

Both the injured have been admitted to Coronation Hospital. Meanwhile, another criminal has been arrested.
Three miscreants looted the house of exporter Vikas Tyagi in Pearl Height Apartment near Anurag Chowk on Saturday afternoon at around 12.30 pm. The miscreants had looted about eight lakh rupees in cash and 20 tola gold jewelery from there.
During the combing there was an encounter between the miscreants and the police. In this, SI Sunil Negi of Uttarakhand Police was shot in the leg. During the encounter, the criminal Furkan was also shot in the leg. Uttarakhand Police has brought both the injured to Coronation Hospital. Security arrangements have been increased in the hospital. On the other hand, the police is interrogating the other arrested criminal.
The miscreants had taken Vikas Tyagi’s brother and son with them, however, while leaving, the three miscreants got down from the car ahead of Mohand and sent them back. After the incident, the police team was sent towards Saharanpur. Late on Monday night, the police of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand together surrounded the miscreants in Biharigarh.
On the complaint of Vikas Tyagi, the police had registered a case against his former partner Rajeev Aggarwal and three miscreants. There is an ongoing dispute regarding his dealings with Rajeev Aggarwal. The miscreants had also told Vikas Tyagi that the people of Ambala had sent them and asked him to arrange Rs 2 crore.
