Haridwar Police Verification campaign being run across the district on the orders of the police captain, 60 house owners fined lakhs for not getting their tenants verified*

HARIDWAR SIDCUL / During verification, suspicious persons were also taken into custody for not being able to show valid documents.

In view of the security of the upcoming Kavad fair, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar has directed to go door to door and verify outsiders, tenants, junk dealers and domestic servants.

In compliance with which, a large scale verification campaign is being run by police stations from city to rural areas by going door to door.

In the same sequence, Sidkul police went door to door in Roshanabad Hettampur under the police station area and conducted an intensive campaign for the verification of outsiders, tenants, junk dealers and domestic servants. During the campaign, 60 house owners were challaned for Rs. 10,000 each, totaling Rs. 60,0000 and the challan report is being sent to the court.

During the campaign, house owners were directed to get their tenants and domestic servants verified immediately. Apart from this, tenants, domestic servants and labourers were also made aware to get their verification done as soon as possible.
