ROORKEE NEWS / SSP Parmender Singh Dobal is constantly motivating his subordinates and citizens at various levels to keep the public of Haridwar away from drugs and to strictly curb drug smuggling.

With the inspiration of the Police Captain and the efforts of SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal, a rally was organized today in Roorkee city, famous as the education hub of Haridwar, adjoining the rural area. In the said rally, police personnel made people aware against drugs through more than 100 two-wheelers and about 30 four-wheelers.

Before the rally, SSP Dobal distributed free helmets and reflective belts to the people and signed the board made for the signature campaign for Drug Free Devbhoomi and formally started the campaign.

After Captain Parmender Singh Dobal flagged off the rally, the rally went back to the city and ended there. During the program, SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal, SP City Pankaj Kumar Gairola, ASP/CO Sadar Jitendra Mehra, CO City Juhi Manral, CO Jwalapur Shantanu Parashar, CO Roorkee Narendra Pant, CO Mangalore Vivek Kumar, CO Laksar Niharika Semwal, CO Traffic Natasha Singh, trainee IPS Kush Mishra along with all the police station in-charges and other police personnel participated.
