Bhagwanpur / Today , in compliance with the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Haridwar, Fire Station Mayapur organized a mock drill program at M/s Everest Industries, Lakheshwari, Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar, to train factory management and employees to prevent fire accidents, correct use of fire fighting equipment and to give quick response in emergency situations.

Information was given on various causes of fire and their prevention measures., Types of fire extinguishers and their method of use were explained,
Like which fire extinguisher is effective on which type of fire., Training was given on the functioning and use of stretcher drill, hose pipe, ordinary branch, multipurpose high performance branch and other fire fighting equipment., All the employees were given practical practice of fire fighting equipment., A hose pipe was extended from the factory’s hydrant and a multipurpose high performance branch was connected to it and a demonstration was done. Special emphasis was laid on the precautions to be taken in case of fire in a domestic gas cylinder.

Through this successful mock drill by Fire Station Bhagwanpur, the employees were given accurate information about fire fighting measures, so that loss of life and property can be reduced in case of fire.
