Haridwar: The month of Sawan is starting from 14th July and with this the Kanwar Yatra will also be started, for which the Haridwar Police Administration has intensified the preparations. In such a situation, it is believed that this time the number of Kanwariyas can be doubled.
On the orders of Deputy Inspector General of Police / Senior Superintendent of Police Haridwar, special meeting is being held with SPOs and CLG members in almost all the police stations for the successful completion of Kavad Yatra.
Meetings of SPO and CLG members residing in police station Bahadrabad, Jwalapur Mangalore, Kaliyar etc. were held. In the meeting, all the SPOs have been urged to give their duty cautiously at various important squares along with the police for the successful completion of Kavad Mela 2022.
The SPOs and CLG members were inquired about the problems faced during the Kanwar Mela and all the people were informed about the necessary steps to be taken for their redressal. At the same time, all the members who came to the meeting assured to cooperate with the police in the Kanwar Mela.
