24 arrested for drinking & creating a riot in public place, case against hotel operator.

Haridwar: For the past few days, complaints of drinking alcohol were being received in hotels of Jwalapur area, in this sequence, Mr. Deputy Inspector General of Police / Senior Superintendent of Police, District Haridwar directed to take necessary action against such persons in Jwalapur area.
In view of this, under the close supervision of Superintendent of Police, City and Assistant Superintendent of Police / Circle Officer Jwalapur, Inspector-in-Charge Jwalapur has been directed to take action against such hotels in the area in which drinking and drinking was being done.
In this sequence, on the date 4/7/2022, by the Inspector-in-Charge Jwalapur RK Saklani, self-checking, action was taken against the hotel owners and drinkers. During this, when the inspector in-charge checked the hotel on the upper floor of Bunty Chicken Center, people were drinking alcohol in the form of a bar.
3 days ago, this hotel was also instructed by the Inspector-in-Charge not to drink alcohol. On being found repeating, the hotel operator Savage son Sajid Ali resident Subhash Nagar Kotwali Jwalapur was arrested from the spot and the case was registered under the Excise Act under the relevant sections.
