Traffic diversion plan for Kanwar Mela 2022 vehicles, Haridwar.

THE POLICE TODAY/NEWS

Haridwar: 1- All small and big vehicles going from Delhi to Dehradun / Rishikesh, primarily from Rampur Tirahe to Deoband via Gagalhedi to Chhutmalpur Biharigarh to Dehradun and
Rishikesh will be diverted.

2- All small and big vehicles going from Delhi to Dehradun / Rishikesh entering Haridwar border will be diverted from Bijhauli to NH 344 from Bhagwanpur to Mandawar to Chhutmalpur, Biharigarh to Dehradun and Rishikesh.

3- Delhi-Meerut – Vehicles coming from Mumbai by diverting from service lane from Munagar to Mangalore to Nagla Imarti, from Landoura to Laksar, from Sultanpur to Ferupur, from Jagjitpur to SM Tiraha, from Shani Chowk to Matrisadan, from Dakshadweep parking, to the crematorium on the right. Bairagi camp will be diverted for parking from Ghat bridge.
4- Vehicles coming from Yamunanagar-Saharanpur to Haridwar NH-344 from Bhagwanpur to Salier Highway via service lane from Bijhauli, diverting from NH-334 to Nagla Imarti and from Landaura to Laksar via Jagjitpur to S.M. After diversion from Tiraha, Shani Chowk will be diverted from Matrisadan to Dakshadweep parking right from the cremation ghat bridge to Bairagi camp parking.
5. If there is traffic pressure in Mangalore or in Nagla Imarti, then by diversion of traffic from Purkarji via Khanpur check post, Laksar to Sultanpur to Ferupur to Jagjitpur to S.M. After diversion from Tiraha, Shani Chowk will be diverted from Matrisadan to Dakshadweep parking right from the cremation ghat bridge to Bairagi camp parking.

6. If any vehicle from Delhi, Meerut, Haryana, Punjab side wants to go towards Najibabad, Moradabad then they will be sent from Laksar Tirahe via Raisi to Balawali via Bijnor route.

7- If the vehicles left from Bhagwanpur come towards Imlikheda, Dhanauri, then those vehicles will be diverted from Dhanauri via Salempur to Shivalik Nagar via BHEL, from Bhagat Singh Chowk to Tibdi Gate via Brahmapuri Tirahe to Hill bypass via Dudhadhari Tirahe to old ARTO Chowk. It will be parked at Laljiwala Parking.
8. Vehicles going from Haryana / Rajasthan / Delhi / UP to Gangotri / Yamunatri will go to Gangotri / Yamnotri via Meerut, Munnagar (Rampur Tiraha), Deoband, Gagalhedi, Dehradun, Vikasnagar, Yamuna Bridge, Damta.

9. Vehicles going from Haryana / Rajasthan / Delhi / U.P. to Kedarnath / Badrinath will go to Meerut, Meerpur, Bijnor, Kotdwar, Pauri, Srinagar to Kedarnath /
10. Clearance of all types of vehicles parked in Bairagi Camp Parking will go from cremation ground bridge to Shree Yantra bridge from Budhimata Tirahe to Deshrakshak towards Sihadwar from where all vehicles will go to their destination via NH 334.

11. As a result of filling up of Alaknanda Parking, Deendayal Upadhyay Parking and Pantdweep Parking, vehicles will be parked at Bat Island Ground and Sarvanandghat Parking.
12. Tractor trolley/bus and other vehicles coming from Moradabad, Bijnor, Najibabad side will be diverted from 4.2 kms to Gaurishankar parking and Nilghara parking.

13. Vehicles going from Dehradun to Delhi, Meerut, Munagar will go towards Delhi via Datkali Mandir Tunnel via Biharigarh, Chhutmalpur.

14. Vehicles going from hilly areas to Delhi, Meerut and Munagar via Rishikesh will go from Natraj Chowk to Bhaniyawala via Datkali Mandir Tunnel from Dehradun to Delhi via Biharigarh, Chhutmalpur.
15. Vehicles going from hilly areas towards Najibabad, Bijnor via Rishikesh will go from Nepali Tiraha to Dudhadhari Chowk to Chandi Chowk via left Chandipul towards Najibabad.

Note:- If Hill Bypass opens, then vehicles going from Haridwar to Dehradun Rishikesh will go from Bhagat Singh Chowk to Tibdi Gate via Brahmupari Tiraha to Hillbypass route to Dudhadhari Tiraha to their destination.
Parking lot for heavy vehicles:👇🏻

During the Kanwar Mela festival, the following places have been identified to stop heavy vehicles so that there is no traffic jam in the city area.

Heavy vehicles going from Moradabad to Bijnor Najibabad will be parked in Chidiyapur and Kangri parking.

Heavy vehicles coming to Haridwar from Delhi-Meerut side will be parked near Narsan Border, Deoband Tiraha, Bijauli Dehradun Bypass.

Heavy vehicles coming from Roorkee to Haridwar will be parked on the highway near Core College, on the truck lay-by and on the service road and near Khyati Dhaba (Bahradarabad).

Heavy vehicles coming from Laksar side will be parked in front of Ferupur outpost, Government Inter College Ground and near Jagjitpur Chowki.

Heavy vehicles coming from Dehradun side will be parked in Lal Tappad. Heavy vehicles coming from Rishikesh side will be diverted from Nepali farm and parked at Laltappad.
Haryana – Heavy vehicles coming towards Saharanpur will be parked in service lane behind Mandawar post and in service lane at Raipur ahead of Mandawar.

Auto/Vikam and E-rickshaw diversion plan when traffic pressure increases

1- Auto / Bikram coming from Dehradun / Rishikesh side will be sent back by U-turn from Jairam Mod.
2- Auto/Vikram and E-rickshaw coming from Jwalapur/BHEL side will go from Shivmurti Tiraha to Tulsi Chowk to Devpura Tiraha.

3- Auto / Vikram and E-rickshaw coming from Jagjitpur will go back from Singhdwar.

4- Auto / Vikram and E-rickshaw coming from Kankhal will go back from Shankaracharya Chowk.

5- Auto / Vikram and E-rickshaw coming from Hillbypass will go back from Bilkeshwar Tirahe.
Note :- 1- There will be zero zone from Chandichowk to Valmiki Chowk to Shivmurti Chowk.

2- There will be zero zone from Shivmurti Chowk to Harki Pauri.

3- There will be zero zone from Bhimgowda barrier to Harki Pauri.
