Haridwar:Medical camp and voluntary blood donation camp were organized in 40th Corps PAC on 09.07.2022. Where the said medical camp was organized for various health related check-ups of 40th Corps PAC, Armed Training Center Haridwar, Uttarakhand Railways Haridwar, Anti-Terrorist Squad Haridwar and their families, while blood donation camp was organized for volunteers and their family members.
With the inspiration of Dr. Alaknanda Ashok, President, Uttarakhand Police Wives Welfare Association (UPVA), the above free medical cap was organized under the supervision of Smt. Abha Dadanpal, President Upva 40th Corps PAC, Haridwar.
The medical camp was attended by teams of doctors and pharmacists from Kailash Hospital, Dr. Lal Pathology Lab, Turant Pharma and Swami Ram Himalayan Hospital, Jolly Grant Blood Bank.
Free ECG, BP, oxygen level, pulse rate and sugar were checked and physiotherapy was done by the team from Kailash Hospital by the personnel and their family members. Dr. Lalpathology Lab provided the facility to conduct all blood related tests at very low prices with special discounts in the camp.
Apart from this, tests related to the amount of calcium in the bones of people were done free of cost by the team from Turant Pharma. A total of 343 personnel and family members took advantage of the facilities available in the said medical camp.
A voluntary blood donation camp was also organized by Himalayan Blood Bank in the camp. The blood donation camp was first started by Shri Dadanpal, Commander 40th Corps PAC and his wife Smt. Abha Dadanpal by donating blood. Inspired by the commander and his wife, the personnel and trainees of all branches also participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp.
