Haridwar:As the days are passing, the number of devotees visiting the Kanwar fair is also increasing day by day because the places are limited and the routes of movement are already fixed, due to which both the “kanwariyas and the trains are needed”. “Sudden pressure has come on the traffic policemen to evacuate safely.

To reduce such pressure, traffic volunteers appointed at different places in the district are playing an important role along with the traffic policemen.

Not long ago, traffic volunteers Rajkumar Wadhwa and Dharmendra Bishnoi engaged in smoothening the system with traffic policemen at the busiest intersection like Chandighat.
