Haridwar:Shri Ashok Kumar IPS, DGP, along with Honorable MLA Shri Pritam Singh Panwar, District Magistrate Tehri Garhwal, DIG Garhwal Zone, SSP Dehradun and General SDRF, along with Kumalda, Sarkhet, Maldevta and its surroundings carried out on-site inspection of disaster affected areas. During this, he instructed to continue the rescue operation being done in the disaster after observing the rescue and relief works of the local police and SDRF.  Along with this, the SDRF has also been directed to prepare alternate connectivity routes for the villagers at the earliest and to continuously search for the missing persons.

Shri Manoj Payal ji, resident of Maldevata had first informed the UttarakhandPolice regarding this natural calamity by calling dial 112, on which the local police and SDRF reached the spot. After which, along with the local people, cooperated with the police and SDRF in the rescue operations.
