Haridwar: The incident is from the Pathri area of the police station, where three youths first made a youth drink alcohol with the intention of killing him and then beat him with sticks and knives. After doing all this, the body of the dead youth was thrown into the Ganges by the three youths with a knife.
The Pathri police engaged in the investigation of the case registered under Section 364, 302, 120B IPC on the complaint given by the family members of the youth regarding the possibility of murder, under the able leadership of SO Pathri Ravindra Kumar, within just 13 hours of the registration of the case, the three accused respectively.

Arrested and succeeded in unearthing the entire incident. The body could not be recovered due to the strong current of Ganga. Along with the continuous efforts by SDRF and local police to find the dead body, the help of drone cameras is also being taken.
