Haridwar:Disclosing the theft case in the ashram, Kankhal police arrested the accused Sanjay resident of Jhuggi Jhopri Matri Sadan Road with stolen goods (01 copper snake, 01 brass trident, 03 copper lotus etc.) Advance legal action was taken. Taking strict action against illegal drugs, the police team formed under the leadership of SO Pathri Ravindra Kumar got a big success. While taking action on the smuggling/sale of raw liquor going on in the area, illegal raw liquor (70 liters), furnace equipment and bike were recovered from the possession of 02 accused 1- Rajat, 2- Pradeep, 3- Jai Kumar, resident of village Sahdevpur Pathri . The accused escaped from the spot, whose search is on. Simultaneously, Joga Singh, a resident of Dinarpur Pathri, was arrested with 10 liters of illicit raw liquor.
Pathri police arrested the accused Javed resident Garhi Sangeetpur Laksar with beef (70kg) and took further legal action during raids to stop cow slaughter.
Mangalore Police, while taking action against illegal drugs, arrested the accused Akhlakh resident Mohalla Sarai, Mangalore with illegal smack (10.40 grams) and further legal action was taken.
