Paudi/Haridwar: AIIMS Rishikesh has handed over the final post-mortem report of Ankita to the SIT probing the murder case. Sources said that the final report mentions three-four injuries on Ankita’s body. It is being speculated from this that the accused also assaulted Ankita before throwing her in the canal. Sources in the SIT say that the report mentions three to four injury marks found on Ankita’s body. He died due to drowning in the canal. Forensic reports are awaited on some points of the report. The statement of the killers also proved false from the report that they did not assault Ankita.
AIIMS PRO Harish Thapliyal said that on Monday, AIIMS has handed over the final post-mortem report of Ankita to the SIT. The SIT will decide whether to make the report public.
